I want to share with you a wonderful experience I had this past weekend. The Sioux Falls Quilters Guild took a bus trip to Lincoln, NE to visit the Quilt Museum. What an awesome experience! It was amazing to see what our foremothers created without all the tools, fabrics and machines available now. I'm not sure how they did it, but I'm glad I had the chance to witness their talents. If you have the chance go visit, you won't regret it. Also, we did some serious shopping along the way, too much fun!

Sounds like it was a very fun trip. My daughter lives in NE so maybe when we go there again, we could stop by and see this museum. It sounds awesome. Thanks for the info. I didn't even know there was one there.

I go everytime I am in Nebraska to visit my family. Their exhibits are always awesome. So I joined to support the effort. Nice quilt shops in Lincoln too.
