don't ya love it when that happens trash to treasure

I have a spool bed footboard, that I'm planning to add on to, to make a floor quilt rack. There's going to be a bar in front for the quilt and the foot board will stick up behind for show. And of course, I could put a 2nd quilt on the foot board, but will I want to cover all those nice spools? :)

Just love when that happens. Look forward to seeing your wall hanging on the recycled rod. :-)

We are really lucky. Have a large grove of bamboo (here in Virginia) that needs a good whacking occasionally. Guess what I use for my rods. Pefect!!! No expense, either. Well, my DH cuts the bamboo and buys the hooks but I like it better than anything else I have come up with. ♥

That's cool! The Dollar store was selling 4' bamboo poles a while back. When I went in to get some, they were all gone! :lol:

Thrify is the name of the game these days. I think that I ight just check the second hand store here to see if they have any of those lamps.

MY DH has a GARAGE full of "stuff" that "just may come in handy some day"............:) :) and he's right!!! We save a lot, but we HAVE a lot more!!!!
