Me too. When my dh graduated from college here at Tech, we said we'd come back when we retired. So here we are. We love being closer to family in West Texas (lived in the Houston area for 25 years).

We actually liked it pretty ok. We lived on the north side in Spring, then The Woodlands. Trips into the traffic were by choice (usually a ball game). I never got used to the heat and humidity. That's my favorite part of being back here. Much cooler and NO humidity! And being close to Tech sports. We have season tickets to football, basketball, and baseball. Keeps us busy. DH has had football tickets since 1976. He always used up vacation days on Fridays and Mondays to come to home games.

Can we have an update on your project? Please? Or even a pic? :-)

Sure. I have not been working on it. She gave me about a year, and I am waiting until my heart is in it since it is so important to her. :)
