Jan,

Good luck on your back surgery -- I don't envy you -- I've been there, done that, but I developed some problems 8-9 months following surgery so I'm looking into Neurostimulation implantation. Big step, but I have to "DO" something!

Let us know how you're doing!

Jan, I wish you the best re: your upcoming surgery. I think you are brave
to do this. I would so appreciate a book about tips
and techniques from you. Your thoughts and suggestions
are so helpful! Thank you and God Bless you.

Jeanette, please do a lot of research on your stimulator before you have it done, ask your surgeon for some names of people who can tell you about theirs. I had one put in and wasn't to happy with it, it did help the pain somewhat (not completely) but my feet felt like they were asleep all the time which made for difficult walking. In the end it all came out due to allergic reactions to the Prolene sutures and several MRSA's. After a total of 6 surgeries in a 5 month span I am worse than I ever was to begin with. I'm not saying it won't work just get some opinions from people who have them. They can be great & can be terrible.
