I have the fly fishing panel I'm making for my BIL and I am thinking about hand quilting around some of the items in the picture never haver done this before which way is better? Knot or no knot?

No knot
Love the quilt |
You make a quilter's knot and pop it into the batting when you first start. I think that's what you are asking. You can probably find out how to do a quilter's knot by searching. Not sure if I can explain it without visuals.

I do quilt around the designs a lot for baby quilts so I can take the project along with me. I always bury the not. I just wouldn't want it the come unraveled.

Nice quilt.

Nice quilt I've always knotted. Wouldn't it come undone?

I'm starting to hand quilt around some of the designs and I have a question about it. When you stitch around the object are the stitches suppose to show on the back like the front? Or just on the front? |
