Need advice
I just finished a twister wreath. I noticed several 1/8 in tear in fabric. I did this when cutting twister. What can I use to keep these tears from becoming any larger? Thanks.

i'm sorry that happened - i use fray check when i see little tears in fabric.

I would use lightweight fusible Pellon interfacing on the back of the cuts.

I would fuse a little scrap of the same fabric to the back. I would then make sure to pick a quilting design that would stitch over it.

What is a twister wreath please???

I would fuse a scrap on the back and if this is a wall hanging I would embellish the wreath making sure I put something over the front of the cut also.

I would do the same as Deecee. Cover front with fray check then make sure I quilted over.

you could applique "berries" or birds or cones or bows over the spots on the wreath.

These are all good ideas. It is always such a nasty surprise when you discover little cuts in your quilt after you have sewn it together. That is when you have to get creative. After you fix it, you will be the only one that knows it is there.
