Okay....I signed up through a quilt shop that I buy from online to do a block swap. I have to make 36 blocks to be sent in by June 30th.
My dilemna is that I want to make interesting blocks that are simple. I want to get them done quickly so I can keep moving along on my other projects but, don't want them to be boring. I want to make something I would want to receive. Any block suggestions? P.S. There is still room in this swap to join if anyone is interested. It costs $5 (this covers the postage to mail the blocks back to you) and you make 36 blocks and get 35 back. The shop is www.cottonpatchquilts.com. It is the sister/brother block swap. |
Why not use some of the BOM from here?

www.quilterscache.com has some wonderful patterns & if you know the size you need, you can narrow your choices by browsing through just that size. sounds like a fun swap & look forward to seeing what you get in return.

Just went and signed up sounds like too much fun to pass up. And I couldn't pay for the block swap and not buy some fabric, that would just be wrong. :-)
Now I too am questioning what type of block to make. Sept was full so I have to have mine done for June. |
Yeah! I am in the June one too! How exciting! You can't beat it for $4.95 and then, you have blocks that came from fellow quilters all over the place! I can't wait to see what comes back!

Do all 36 have to be different? If not, how about the friendship star. Easy, but nice & appropriate block title for a swap.
