Need border advice

I made these sample blocks of the Disappearing Hourglss. Liked them, so decided to use as table runner. Need to add a border, but can't figure out what color or design to use. All suggestions are welcomed.

I love it. Very classy looking. My first thoought was a black and white pinstripe border (cut on the bias for a nice angled stripe). Or a B&W pindot .

the black and white is striking. it really allows any pop of color as the border. my fav is red.

Looks great ... a perfect way to try a pattern out.

What I see is a a narrow border of a bright pop of colour .... whatever you might favour!
Then either ... all white, or all black, or a black and white print.

Very pretty.

I had the same thought as zozee. pinstripe black and white cut on the bias....small version.

This was my thought too.

I vote for a pop of red as an inner border, then possibly a black border with black binding.

I agree that this quilt screams for a small dose of color. A narrow color border and then your wider outer black and white border. It will be very pretty.

If it needs a border I would do white with black binding. I think red at this stage would just look like an add on. Just my opinion. BTW I do like you blocks, they look very elegant.
