need D9P information
I think I saw a link to a different way to cut a D9P on this board. The block was cut on the edges instead of the middle. You cut two sides then the other two. Can someone help me find the link? Thank you!

Can't help but if you go to MISSOURI STAR QUILT COMPANY, YOUTUBE VIDEO, Jenny Doan has video on it.

I saw that. The block was cut twice diagonally in each direction like an "X" which was about an inch wide. Then you mixed up the pieces from different colored blocks to make the D9P, I believe.

I found this link to a cool 4 patch - maybe not what you were looking for but it is definitely on my to do list!

Recently someone posted a Double Disappearing 9 Patch. After the first cut you add more squares to make another nine patch and then cut it again. Hers was called "square dance" (do a search on it), and also http://afewscraps.blogspot.com/2011/...ine-patch.html gives a tutorial.

I wonder if you are thinking of this one, but it's a DP4:

I thought I saw a tute under tutorials on that block, on the board.

If there is a quilt on the board that I really like, I don't know if this is allowed but I make a copy of it and send an e-mail to myself.... I can't figure out how you save a thread since the big change over a year ago.

Both of those, the 4 and the 9 patch, patterns are amazing. Thanks for the links!
