need help with 5"sq.

I have 5"sq. of material from dance outfits that I need to make into a wall hanging. Does anyone have suggestions on what to do?

I wonder if maybe they could be a pieced border for a small picture type wall hanging. I have seen many pieced borders that are truly beautiful.

If they are the stretchy knit fabrics, you will need a knit needle on your sewing machine. A pattern that has cotton around the squares will help stabilize them. Take a look at the Missouri Star quilt co. Youtube video of the Falling Charms quilt top. This might work for your squares with a background cotton fabric to pull the squares together for a wallhanging.
