I just purchased a Gracie II quilting frame and the Quilt Motion software. I am using the Brother PQ1500S machine with the frames. I am having problems getting the bobbin thread to pull to the top of the quilt. Also am having a problem of the top thread breaking when I use the thread cutter button. Wondering if there were any adjustments I needed to make to the machine. Anyone have any suggestions?

when you use cutter it cuts the threads a bit short. when I'm done I move the machine to the left to the right about 4 inches and then use the cutter. this leave enough thread to draw up. Hope this helps.

I have the same machine and had the same problems getting the bobbin thread to come up. I ended up starting completely from scratch and set both my upper and bobbin tensions at 0, then worked my way up until the tension was balanced.
