I want to keep the purple theme and not the yellow or green.
I need opinion on which to use as the inner border. Here are the two choices. Either the small print or the strip print. |
I definitely like the strip print better.
What if you put a thin strip of the purple and then the strip? Very nice quilt!!!! |
Small print, or turn the stripes going long ways.

I like the small print better. Directional prints will fight with something on the sides.
|
I, too, like the small print.
|
I vote for the stripe! However, you won't go wrong with the print either! :)
|
Strip print will pull it together like a 2" and then the purple to finish it off maybe 3.5".
|
All your choices are wonderful. I love the one with a tiny border of purple, then the stripe -

I vote for the small print. I think the striped border will take away from the drama of the print top. Where as the small print will highlight it. Either way it will be and is gorgeous.
|
I like the solid blue and then the striped for a thinning middle or outside border.
I just think that any print detracts from the design you used in the quilt. Putting a solid... the purple first frames it beautifully and then the strip or other frames it again and finishes it off. |
I definitely like the strip print better. Makes it more interesting. Whatever you choose, it is a darling quilt. Love your colors.
|
I'm voting for the small print. LOVE the purple

I like the stripe. It's a very pretty quilt.
