I love this quilt, however it is only 31" x 43"
http://www.eeschenck.com/i/qc_both/p...Sixteen_09.pdf It looks like the border is 5" of that - Do you think that turning it sideways you could put 2 or 3 of the flowers - and it would look ok? Any suggestions? |
I will be watching for any suggestions you get. That is a beautiful quilt. Hope you can figure out how to keep the look and make it bigger. Thanks for sharing the link.

How big are you wanting to make it?
|
I would think that you could make 2 or 3 of the flowers and make it a bigger size. I have a tendency to make quilts larger than what the pattern calls for.
|
You can add one more flower block on top for height/extend the stem as well and you could mirror the entire center part of the panel and have it twice as wide.

I think a "row" of those would make a lovely quilt.

I wonder if I made the blocks an inch or 2 bigger over all it would work? By bigger, I want the quilt bigger than just the small wall hanging it is at the moment |
You could double the size by mirroring it top/bottom and side to side. Essentially making 4 panels of this size and sewing them together. It should look fine that way.
