Wow! Great looking quilt. Doesn't look to difficult to assemble. How large for the feathered star? I think I have 18 or 20" pp pattern.

it almost looks like it might have been a round robin with each person adding to the quilt as it went along. Its really pretty!

I agree with you all that this is a gorgeous pattern. If anyone does find the source for a pattern, I'd love to know where it could be found.

I have fun playing with EQ7 and thought this might be a fun quilt to try to recreate.
This quilt as I saw it, finishes at 72x94 inches with these measurements for each segment.
The center Feathered Star is 24 inches with a 2 inch sashing.
The next gift border is 8 inches.
Then a filler 2” sashing of the background fabric. This could be added to the gift boxes height making them 8 wide x 10 high.
Then a 3” pieced block row on top & bottom. I was lazy & just showed it as a single fabric.
Next is an 8 inch row of Christmas trees. I drew them with 1 1/2 inch at the bottom of the tree with a 1/2 inch tree trunk
Then another 3” pieced block row, but on all four sides this time.
Lastly a 9 inch border of the stars. I could not figure out how to leave a space in EQ between the stars so mine does not look like the original quilt. Also, I tried to draw the stars like they were sewn, but really needed a pattern. Mine are so-so. Hope this helps someone out.

Edited to add: I looked at the quilt more closely and saw that there were 3 sections of the pieced row by the trees, indicating that the trees should be 9 inches tall which would add 2 more inches to the length of the quilt.
Edited to Add: The trees should be 9 inches high because I can see now

Barb, this is wonderful! I am printing off your diagram and measurements! This will be a project that gets to the top of my to-do list! You are so talented......i may play around with your dimendions...i have a pattern for a 20” feathered star, so i may try to “downsize” this a bit. I have EQ5, but there is no way I could figure this out on my own. Thank you!!!

Barb - nicely done! You beat me to posting this. I also did it in EQ last night as I was watching TV but my numbers are a bit smaller (I started with an 18" center block). To get the stars spaced - choose "spaced squares" in border styles.

making this quilt would use up all my Christmas fabrics and that would be great! what a pretty quilt. Will be watching this post as it develops
