I am having trouble with quilt being too loose and the stitches not the same size when I try to move it in circles..This is using my embroidery foot Q...Is th shank too high??

I would make sure your machine is clean, no lint or such. This would be enough to mess it up. Also, I would change my bobbin thread, may be the
thread just isn't setting right either too tight or two loose.
