Would cloud shapes work?....whatever you decide I'm sure will be just right. Looking lovely so far.

I actually thought about cloud shapes! Great minds think alike! I even thought about a fluffy clamshell pattern to look like clouds, but the pattern really started to get lost in the tree branches. :-( I did a stencil called "Repeating Waters" and it really looks like swirling wind. Now to work on all the borders, lol! I couldn't find the leaf stencil I wanted to use for the 2" border so I'm using a leaf cookie cutter, lol.

Amazing what you can find around the house to give that perfect design:). Maybe just a few clouds scudding across the sky....

It's coming! I'm hoping to finish it this week! Then I need to start work on my Christmas quilts, lol! And a Hanukkah table runner. We are not Jewish, but I have a Jewish cousin so we started out by telling our daughters about his faith. Also, we believe that the miracle of the oil is still part of our Christian faith's history. So, we light a menorah, eat some latkes and teach our girls the traditions, but really put the focus on our Christian holidays. So, I have quite a December ahead of me, lol.
