They have another one that is a #66, Feb. 14, 1955 in a cabinet. Plus they still have his great grandmother's machine. Mom said they have a treadle on their enclosed porch too. Where I have been?? Seems like I just woke up to a whole new world.

I brought the #128 & the 99K with me!! The 128 is the one without a pedal it has a press thing on the side.

Looks like they are all good machines. I really like the 99, it is so simply designed and easy to use and maintain. My favorite machine for piecing. I think the "press thing on the side" that you are talking about is a knee control. In some ways they are easier than a foot pedal.....you don't have to keep hunting for it with your foot. Just lean your leg sideways.
