Maybe I missed it, but what pattern is Justeena planning on doing for the quilt? plain blocks, nine patch, or ?????? So anxious for the pictures of her journey.

She is doing a scrappy quilt. We started out with one pattern and because some wonderful ladies send larger pieces we chose another patter with all different size blocks. Right now she is scrapbookings all the stories and cutting out 3.5 x 5.5 blocks to do a piano strip on the back with everyones names on it. Some people sent some and for those that havent their name will still be on a block. I'll keep you posted.

This is so exciting, I sure wish we were all in the same city so we could be there to watch and help when needed...oh, the excitement! Such fun and very excited to see what she is doing...by the way Thank you for including us!

I'll bet if we tried, some of the rest of us may find a young girl to sponsor too. I'm guessing there would be plenty of girls who would like to learn how to sew and quilt.

I was dropped from this thread and have just now tracked it down. Great to see pics of Justeena opening all her envelopes. Must have been very exciting for her and for yourself. Interested to see next installment.
