Holy Cow. I thought that I had a fairly large fabric stash....but that woman has spent probably 5 times on plastic bins what I have spend on my fabric stash!!
|
I am jealous. Wish I had half that much stash.

I don't have THAT much. But when I first moved to the basement I had shelves just like hers. See I can't stand having it all staring at me like that. I want it hidden, but accessible when I need it. That is what prompted me to put in all my floor to ceiling shelves. I am slowly getting rid of non quilting stuff. I have so much apparel fabric from when I made all the grandkids clothes as babies. I have lots of corduroy; anyone know of a good way to either use it or get rid of it? I may have my DDIL put it on freecycle.

So inspiring a great goal to slowly achieve. Will start by collecting more uniform plastic bins with coupons, etc.

and I thought I was organized. Very impressive!

I really need to redo my room. ATM it is quite overwelming.
Too many books, magazines, but I will never say too much fabric  |
At first I was impressed, but the more I looked and thought about it the more I didn't like it (for me). That's too much organization, IMO. I wouldn't like having to open a billion bins to shop. at the moment I have my (much, much smaller!) stash organized/neatly folded in large flatter bins by colors, but I can pull one out and look at probably 75-100 different fabrics at once because they are all in one bin. But hey, everyone is different and if it works for her, good on her!

Oh dear lord...can we say OCD?
