Need help please.
 

I'm doing a carpenders star, and want to make it larger by adding
borders and would like to put a small star in each corner. I want
each small star to be 12 inches. What size do I cut my blocks ?

visit 'quilterscache' they have hundreds of free block patterns- including the carpenter's star block- you can choose what size you want the star- and find the pattern in that size. good resource site to have 'on hand'
