My daugther will graduate in May from Pharmacy school. Its a very special time because when she first got into school she got AML leukemia and almost died she has had to go thru a bone marrow transplate and so many very painfully things while trying to stay in school. Well praise the Lord she is healthy and she will finish school.
I want to make her a quilt for this but I need ideals please.
do any of you have a design for a doctor of pharmacy or do you know where I could find a pattern.
Thanks you all so much for your help.

While she was in school didn't she get lab coats. Our daughter did. She goes to FA&MU. I had to buy her two and then I bought one extra for me so before she graduates 2012 I will start on her quilt

This would be a special time even without the leukemia. Oh my, what she and your family must have gone through. My daughter will graduate from pharmacy school in May 2012. I had not thought about making her a quilt, but maybe I should. The school she goes to probably has some kind of logo. My daughter goes to Univ of Wisc in Madison and they have a big W. As far as pharmacy specific, Rx is short for prescription, maybe a mortar and pestle, a beaker, a Rx bottle, a picture of her in her white coat. I will watch this thread for more ideas in case I decide to make one. Congratulations to you and your daughter!

If you google images for pharmacy designs you will see many logos that you could possibly embroider onto quilt squares and with contrasting fabric squares, create your quilt. The logo designs could be in her favorite or the school colors.

How about a memory quilt of her life and accomplishments? My son is also a leukemia survivor, now 30 with two children. I've been thinking of a way to celebrate his life with a memory quilt. just a thought, probably not a great one.

IMO...lap quilt in her fav colors and the block pattern you love to do. Label could say something RE her accomplishment.

It is a good ideal, but her brother died 5 monthes before her AML and so 2005 is just a year of bad memories that we try to forget.

Thanks everyone for the great ideals. I will try and find something and when I do I'll post it for you to see.

I would focus on her accomplishment of becoming a Pharmacist
Use the clip art for applique or embroidery and the school logo...
