Hi, I think your too critical with your seams showing. I wouldn't worry about that at all. The quilt looks beautiful.
I have had that problem at times too and Kona cloth doesn't show so use that next time and you really can't do anything about it now. Believe me your gift will be appreciated very much and no one else will see what you do. Beautiful work, be proud. GOOD JOB... Be Happy! jigs |
What a beautiful quilt! I find that I can not see my quilts correctly until I finish them, wait a bit and look at them from across the room. The focus will then be on your beautiful creation and not every stitch and shadow. Also, the quilting changes what you see in the quilt. It is great.... While we are working they are cutting and piecing and batting and quilting. When they are finished they are an expression of our creativity and our hearts.
Beautiful! Love to see a picture when finished! Christine |
Your quilt is very pretty - you did a great job on it. White is always notorious for showing seams. I actually stick to White on White for fabric and to mitigate some of the seam showing I only use Snow White batting - that seems to help for me!!

Actually, I think the white lines can be considered a design feature. They're very sharp and modern looking.
