This is the pattern I am wanting to work from. I've got 4 different fabrics cut into 10 1/2 as per the instructions, I am not sure what the square dimensions are suppose to be. Maybe I'm not reading it right?

Thanks in advance for your help!!

4 blocks 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" square
2 blocks 10 1/2" x 10 1/2" square

It looks like if you are using 4 colors instead of 8, you need 4 squares 10 1/2" of each. Then one color you need to cut 4 squares 5 1/2" for the cornerstones. Then cut your sashings, borders, and binding.

The squares will finish at 10" each. When you sew 4 together, the strip should measure 40 1/2". The whole thing as pictured should measure 50 1/2 x 65 1/2.

From the directions you should have 8 fabrics cut into 10 1/2" x 10 1/2" squares for a total of 16 squares. Hope this helps
