Saw this yesterday while in town, no one knew pattern name. Does anyone know it and where instructions can be found? Thanks much.

Looks like 1/2 snowball blocks where only 2 corners have a sew & flip triangle. If you look closely, you can see that the triangle are different sizes. One looks to be about half the size of the patch, the other is smaller. Assume that each of the 4 blocks that make up the butterfly wing finish at 4". I'd make one triangle finish at 2" and one finishes at 1.5", with the body strip 1".

Looks to me like "Butterfly Town", designed by Gail Abeloe and published by Brookshier Design Studio. [email protected] The pattern comes in 3 sized, baby (44" square), Lap (44" X 57") and Bed (57" X 83")

That's a lovely quilt! Paper Princess is right about the snowball blocks, so it should be pretty easy to do. Good luck!

I have the pattern and made it - It's a fig tee quilts pattern called "Painted Ladies" its very fun and easy to put together.
