I have a made a wall hanging now I want to embroidery in a few spaces so that being said should I still use warm and natural batting???

this is the wall hanging I am talking about the plain blocks will have embroidery in them

Not being an embroidery genius I would guess embroider first just fabric then quilt sandwich.......others will be more knowledgable on this and probably give you better advise

I really liked the way the embroidery looked thru the sample I made it was sandwiched then embroidered I thin that is what I want to do

I think what you are asking is if you can embroider through a sandwich with W&N batting. I have done this. I first SITD the whole top, then did the embroidery. The designs I chose were not filled designs, however, they were redwork, like hand embroidery. Did you use the same embroidery pattern on the sample you did? Did you use W&N in the sample?

are you talking about hand or machine embroidery?

Yes it is a regular quilting embroidery design pretty open. And yes I did do the same design on the sample
