I have 2 jelly rolls and want to make a quilt using both. First off, I am a sort of newby. I have made 4 yellow brick road quilts throw size, 1 rag quilt, and 1 table runner.
I have a pattern that is called lemon blush that I would like to use, but it calls for 1 jelly roll, and sashings and border. It is like five lines of v's separated by sashings. Finished size 61 x 72. I want it like 92 x 110. Is there a way, and if so, how would I figure for this. Or does anyone know of a fairly simple pattern that you could use 2 jelly rolls on? Thanks, Pat |

Could you show us the pattern? Might help

Is this it? http://www.overrainbow.com/cgi-bin/S...cking5=froogle?
So to make each line of v's longer, just keep going. If it wants, say, 30 fabric pieces, make it go to 40 (or however long to get the length you want). Then just add an extra few v's to get the width you want. With guesstimation math, I think you would need 3 extra v's. Or a wide border, or a few borders, if you're only using jellyrolls Hope that helps |
Yes, yes, this is the exact pattern.

Do you mean 3 extra v's in each of the 5 rows, or do you mean 3 extra lines? I know, I'm not smart at this.

I will also be putting the sashings in and all as it shows on the picture. My duh moments are quiet regular, I think I just figured out you meant 3 extra rows.

make extra rows.

just add more v's to each row to make it longer and make more rows to make it as wide as you want it i have done that to make the size i want
