I bought and returned a walking foot for my Janome Marie Osmond Quilter's Companion 200 because I could not figure out how to get it on. All my other feet snap on, but the walking foot needed to be screwed on. Of course, I was in a different state and was heading the next morning, so I couldn't take the walking foot in with my machine and have them show me how it worked :-( :-(

If you have a Janome MOQC200 with a walking foot, could you please post a picture of the walking foot alone and one of it attached to the machine? I really need a walking foot on my Janome - can't slow my old Elna down enough to keep sewing straight!

Thanks!!!

if it's like mine, it has a bar sticking out in front that needs to be place over the screw that tightens your needle in place. that makes it go up and down and won't work properly without that in place.
i searched online but got nothing. do you not have a manual that has directions?
i take the bar and put my small finger under that while i place the foot in place to be screwed in. then i look and make sure the bar is in place and i'm ready to go.

There is even a short video that probably gives you better visuals.

Thank you! Drat, that is exactly what I had but could not figure out how to attach it. Darn them for not having directions on the package!!!

I have the same machine as you. I quilt with the darning foot. It screws on. Just take off the regular foot and screw on your darning food. My dealer told me this is the foot to quilt with.

I have a longarm so I don't quilt on my Janome. I like a walking foot to put on the binding and now that I've learned the faux piping binding that can be put on totally with a sewing machine, I need to be able to control the speed to keep everything straight when putting the binding on.
