So sorry for your loss.
Here is a link to a quilt made from all the neckerchiefs a dog got from the groomer. Hope it helps.

I made a memory quilt from our two last dogs. Turned out great. I just used blocks with sashing in between. I had a lot of dog fabric left over from 2 quilts I had done for 2 of my GS's. I filled in and did the border and back with that. My husband keeps it over the back of his favorite chair. So sorry you lost your doggie.

I am so sorry that your Sandy is gone. I have saved our dogs scarves-from the groomers-and plan to make a bow-tie quilt eventually. Our pups are pretty small so I may have to use Chester's idea. Love that one.

Thank-you everyone for the great ideas. We really miss Sandy. Jr and I never had kids so he was definitely our baby.

I know how you are feeling and I'm sorry for your loss. My husband and I are childless and Stitches (see my avatar) was like a fur covered son. It has been two years since he passed and I miss him like a family member. His bad weather jacket and collar hang in my closet. The quilt he slept on I washed, folded and it remains on the floor alongside my bed. Silly of me, but it makes me fell better.

Sooo sorry about your loss of a beloved fur baby. I liked the twirls and swirled pattern.

How about making a crazy quilt of them in the silouette shape of your dog. If you owned a embroidery machine I could see a embroidered dog or bone on a section. Or fancy stitched over seams by machine or by hand. Judi

I am filled with guilt at the mess of strips on my shelf too.
