Need link to binding tip here, two color

I think someone posted a two color binding in here but can't find it. I believe it was sewn onto the back and folded over the front, then stitched down. I am almost finished with a lap quilt and want to do that.
anyone know this post??

Are you looking for the one with the flange on the front?

Or the binding with one fabric for the front of the quilt, and another on the back of the quilt?
That binding can be quite effective.

I see no one (including myself) has provided a link for you but I do remember this topic. What I would do...determine what width biding you wanted to use. Sew opposing fabrics together with strips opposing to reduce wavering/wiggling of your fabrics. Press seams open; press binding wrong sides together to make sure you have your binding as close to perfectly aligned as possible. Then stitch to top side of quilt and wrap to back. I hand sew my back-side bindings so that is what is what I would recommend to be able to control exactly where the front/back of the binding falls. But that is me.

I did do a quick search of 'two color bindings' and got nothing quickly accessible on the site regarding this subject. Perhaps you could do a more in depth search and get different answers??? Good luck. It sounds like a really awesome concept for some quilts and one I may try myself at some point.

Here is a link to a thread where I posted some links (that was confusing, lol)for two sided binding. Look for my post and there are a few to choose from...if that is what you are looking for.

I wrote a tutorial for a flange binding, which has one color flange and a different color binding, all applied by machine. Do a google search for "flange binding".

I make the flange binding with 1 1/2” strip and 2” strip. I know it’s not the size you usually see, but it works perfectly!
