Need Minkee Binding Help!!!

I am wondering if anyone has used Minkee (Minky) fabric for binding a quilt? If so, can you give me some pointers and advice on the best way to do it? I don't know for positive, that this is how I am going to bind it but, I am thinking about it.
I sure will appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks to all you much more knowledgeable quilters out there. I am still a flounderer!!! (a newbie)

I've used minky to back many quilts and have always used regular cotton or flannel to bind... If I were to (try) binding with the minky I think I would do the fold over from the back method, fold under the edge, pin about every inch and definitely use a walking foot.

I would definitely use stabilizer, but if you're using the minkee with the raised dots, pressing onto the stabilizer will lose the dots, and therefore half of the effect. Good luck with this method, I think it will be adorable!
