Need name of the discount book company

Someone posted info about a discount book company, I think it was last year, and I can't find the entry. I also can't find any info in my notebooks and I know I ordered from them. Can you help me? Thanks.

Not sure if this is it, but I've ordered many discounted quilting books from Martingale.com.

I always use amazon.com, you can get used quilting books really cheap!

Are you thinking of Edward R. Hamilton?

www.abebooks.com

I use Abe Books all the time for all kinds of books. You might check them out.

annthreecats 12-31-2012 01:29 PM

I use Alibris.com all the time. $3.99 shipping per book.

Prism99 12-31-2012 01:32 PM

This is the biggest discount bookstore I know of:

Do a search of your email inbox if you ordered online; you might find an email receipt.

Half.com by Ebay..I buy all my books quilting or otherwise from there! I got a lot for 75 cents + shipping!

ontheriver 12-31-2012 03:28 PM

I buy a lot from betterworldbooks.com. Some quilting and some for reading. They are a little slow BUT They always have free shipping.

alikat110 12-31-2012 04:18 PM

http://www.betterworldbooks.com. Select "popular categories", "home & garden", "crafts and hobbies", "quilting". U can get tons of books at great prices and free shipping.

I get a catalog from here every couple of months in the mail. . . http://www.bookcloseouts.com/Store/B.../N-0/Ntt-quilt

I go to amazon find out who is selling the book and go to that company. Bookdepository has free postage I think world wide which really reduces prices.

Thank you to the responses, I have been looking for these sites, and am glad I looked at this thread. Just another reason I love this site!

Half.com. It has everything cheap. It's the "book department" of eBay. I've ordered everything from textbooks to sewing books and you can sell books of all kinds as well easily.

damaquilts 01-02-2013 06:33 AM

Try this one.. It gives you a bunch of prices all at once. There are a few not on here but check.. Its how I buy all my books and rarely find one cheaper any other way

I always use Amazon.com but I'm also going to check out all the other websites others have posted. Surely from one of these places you ordered your books last year. Good luck!

Shrink42020 01-02-2013 06:47 AM

This site is also my number one choice when looking for a good price on books, movies!

Thanks for all these sites.

meanmom 01-02-2013 03:41 PM

WOW I didn't know all of these.Thanks. Bookmarked it and emailed it to myself so I don't loose it.

captlynhall 01-02-2013 08:16 PM

Unless you just want to own the book, have you tried the public library. I use them all the time. If I like a book enough to check it out three times, then I buy it. Saves me lots of money and storage issues.

charhend 01-02-2013 08:26 PM

If you sign up with Martingale, they are a publisher of quilting books you can usually get them for forty percent off. Many times I have gotten in on their sales and purchased a lot of books for $4.00 each.
