I would use them all, and my favorite is the plaid! I always like what I think of as something curvy (like the flowers) with something straight (like the plaid)

I agree with Dunster and, for me, the plaid adds excitement.

The greens in the top picture work for me, but the other greens do not. The bright, minty green over powers all the other fabrics.

I think the darker ones are best although the one at bottom and left in the left block looks a bit Christmasy.

I agree with UBE quilting. If you are going to use several fabrics, make it many or just one. IMHO you are getting too hung up on will it go or not. More fabrics is the answer or one fabric. If you can't see it from the back of a galloping horse, it's good. I used to be very controlling about my quilts and am not any longer. I use many, many fabrics and my quilts are raved over and I've been complimented, so it's not just me that likes them. Since you are using one fabric for the blocks it will have a unifying effect while using your greens and you would be surprised how well greens go together and with that lovely main fabric it will be a hit. I'd go to my fav lqs and buy fat quarters and small cuts and mix it up.
I've made several scrappy green and neutral quilts and many greens go well together - they do in nature, right?

Leaves have lots of shades and values in the greens. I think more is better and to spread them around generously. I think that when you lay out more of your floral blocks with a variety of greens your quilt will be spectacular. I really like that plaid in there. Right now I am on a polka dot kick so how about adding a few dots? I really like what you are doing because it is refreshing.

Nature says 'GREEN goes with everything. I do like symmetry. All of your greens look good but value is your choice for placement.

I love the plaid! I like the blue-green greens a lot, the yellow-green not so much. The blue-greens lend contrast and excitement, IMO. The yellow-green blend too much into the floral.

Like others, I think either one green (the one on the left, not the plaid) or lots of greens. Right now you don't have enough variety in the greens to make it seem scrappy. I'd buy a bunch more 1/4 yard greens and mix them in....using only blue-greens, though.

I think another reason the yellow-green in the right hand block doesn't work is because it's scale is too similar to the scale of the brown print. The other greens work better because their scale is in contract to the brown print.

The yellow-green print could work if you put it with the darker rose instead of the lighter rose. Right now the yellow-green print blends too much into the light rose, and doesn't set off the pretty floral center.

I kind of like the idea of using that big piece of green that you added last as a border. Probably a thin border, and then add something else for a second thicker border.

Lovely quilt! Have fun choosing!

I hate to tell you, but I think you just don't have any green that's right for that those blocks. I think you need a darker green, maybe a solid or a green on green that reads solid. I love the block and think a dark green will make it leap out of the quilt. froggyintexas

I'm with froggy. A darker, more solid lilke green may do the trick.
