Warm Wishes does go quickly together once you have sewn the three color strip that need to be cut for the sashing. You should be able to easily get it done this weekend. Use the darker color on the ends because it will frame you focus fabric. Good Luck !!

Jeanne S, I like that pattern a lot. The dotted fabric is perfect for it.

I have made a quick quilt by cutting 5 inch solid fabric (either white or cream) and making HST's with a charm pack. It works up quick and has endless patterns. The simplest for me was in a line like sail boat sails.

I have made many 10 min block quilts. I love them and they are super fast.

Wow, those are cool! Have you made one?

Yes, I have but used smaller squares-maybe 6 in blocks. The first block took a little longer just figuring it out. After that, it went very quickly.

I agree with Susan. The 1st block takes some time to figure it out, but it makes a great-looking block.

Ally, I love your quilt! I'm putting it on my to-do list......Thanks!

So what's wrong with your own suggestion? I love the simplicity of a 9 patch that creates an Irish Chain. Warm Wishes is a great one, if you have the right colors to create that one. Easier than it appears! How about a rag quilt, using flannel behind your charms?
