Just have to tell everyone about one of the best books I've ever had the pleasure to read. If you are in need of inspiration, this will do it. Each and every story is from the heart and brings goosebumps to your skin smiles to your face and the occassional tear to your eye. Nice little quilting tips and such in between these true quilting stories as well. If you haven't read this one...go to your local library and ask for it. I haven't found it at a bookstore yet...but believe me...I WILL. Just to have on hand for those sewing slumps we all experience from time to time. Not to mention, just how wonderful it is to read something POSITIVE in this day and age.

Yes, it is really neat, that they have the inter-library loan! This is the first time I've ever really used it! It said the book would be sent 'when available', so I don't have any idea of when, so it'll be a nice surprise when it comes! :D

I couldn't get into them at first for she talks too much spanish and for a country girl-deep rooted-I just had a hard time understanding them and the fact I didn't start at first w/book 1. I read the first one 'A Single Thread' but, haven't the second one. I wasn't sure if it actually followed from the first book....does it ? Liked the first one.
