i have these neighbors real sweet mother and daughter. i need some ideas easy and quick for christmas. no quilts to late for that. i hope you all can help me. any and all would be appreciated. i already made them placemats. thank you ... in advance...

I was just about to suggest the same thing. :) Tote bags can be used for so many things! I have several and use them constantly.

The fabric boxes sound great. Also seasonal table runners, placemats, hot pads, coasters. There is the 10 minute table runner. And the one that starts with a square, then you add strips to each side like a french braid.
