I assume you want gifts that are more particularly suited to them than to strangers of the same age. What are their particular interests or hobbies? How do they spend their spare time? What jobs do they have? What colors do they wear to work, for casual wear? What do they like to read, google? What are their future plans? I have 2 granddaughters age 22 and 23. They wouldn't like the same things as they are completely different people, but they are sisters.

Here is a tutorial for a nice easy key holder---http://www.theidearoom.net/2009/08/fashionable-fabric-key-chains.html

She might also like a tissue holder....you could also consider passport holders and luggage tags from fabric, if they are travelers) and camera strap covers....I've also seen nice covers for laptops and Nooks (or Kindles).... She might like a cover for a journal (with journal or small notebook included) I notice that gifts for girls are easier! to come up with!

Some people that age (or older like me) might also like fabric tic-tac-to or checker boards. You could also make simple drawstring bags and put in a few candies, a pen, a small notebook, a calendar, gum, etc.

Shopping bag (grocery-type)? More and more young people are going green. :)

This is a great idea, and it gives them something to put the other items into to take home or to their room.

Itune cards for their electronic devices? Do they need a little carrying case for their IPad?

I've seen patterns for cell phone holders and tablet holders perhaps something like that would work.
