I need to make a block, 4 shades of green plus black, in an Amish tradition. I have my colors but am stumped for a block. Thought about a d9P but someone is already doing that one. Any suggestions? Don't want one too complicated. I have to make 20 of them.

The most Amish quilts I can think of are the Shadow ones. Mine was Sunshine and Shadows, though my fabrics weren't sunshine colors (blues and burgandy). It's the one on a lot of Amish quilt books. A largish triangle of black with the other half of the square in stripes - that's where your greens would come in. Eleanor Burns call her Roman Stripes, but it's the same quilt.
