Need suggestions, please!
I've made two different mistakes trying to make the strip tumbling blocks. So I have two different types of blocks now. I'm not one for giving up and starting over, but maybe I should. What do you think?

keep on trucking. do what you think is best but do not give up .

Don't give up! Use the "oops" blocks, on the back of the quilt. They won't look like mistakes; they'll look like examples of alternate patterns!
In the meantime, do a bit of Google searching, for other directions to the same pattern. Sometimes, a different set of instructions will make a world of difference. :) |

Thanks for the encouragement! I watched the video that someone suggested, but there must be a block after watching it 3 times. After mistake #2, I found the info in pdf form. That's when I discovered that one strip was 3" and not 2.5. Makes lots of sense now - lol.

There was a page inserted in the Marcie Baker book to correct numerous typos. Never have I seen so many typos.

There are no mistakes in quilting - just design decisions. It's you quilt - make it your way.
