Need Thread Color Advice Please
 

I am am almost finish with my grandnieces quilt expert for quilting it. The only things is I cannot decided what color of thread to buy to quilt the quilt with.

It depends if you want the quilting stitch to stand out or blend in.

I would like the thread to blend in. I plan on using white thread on the backside of the quilt.

A nice soft pink and purple variegated thread would work great.

i would use a gray or pale pink

I would use a pink/purple variegated or a gray depending on how I wanted it to look

I discovered, quite by accident, that light gray thread blends in beautifully. I agree that a pink/purple variegated would be really nice. I do love this quilt.

white - it would show up a little bit, but not very much.
