I've been keeping my eye out for a good One Block Wonder fabric. What do you think of this one? The website says the scan is 13 x 20. This is too expensive to make a mistake!

I think this one would work well.

Beautiful and lots of colors and large images. Keep us posted on your choice.

I have a piece very much like this, waiting for its turn, I did buy it intending it to be an OBW.

The fabric is *glorious*!

oh dear ... I won't be able to cut that fabric ... it is beautiful!!!

I like it!
You've got lots of different colours in there and a large print and repeat. Will be a softer look to it, than many of the vibrant ones we see. Mine is the soft pink one, you may have seen, so it'll be nice to see another one that's quieter! :)

It's going to make a beautiful OBW!!! :)

Thanks for all your comments. I placed the order and hope it looks as good as I think. This will be my first OBW, however it will have to take its place in line!! I'm working on a paper pieced Log Cabin (with cornerstones) for my daughter and it takes almost an hour to do each block (ugh) -- but it looks good when done. Only have 5 completed with another 283 to go!! What we won't do for our kids.

Oh my goodness ..l wow!! Does your DD realize how much commitment you are giving to this quilt? Teeny Tiny blocks? or? Please do show us those five!

Hey, I'm a 'Linda B' too. Beautiful fabric - it will make a great OBW but it's so pretty I would cry while I cut it up.

TonnieLoree 05-21-2011 01:05 PM

That is going to be spectacular! Lovely, lovely, lovely.

RDM 05-21-2011 01:10 PM

It has my vote. I find Asian fabrics have multiple colors that I like in OBW.

fabric lover 05-21-2011 01:19 PM

Ohhhhhhh, I think it will be lovely with all the different colors you can use. I'ld go for it.

blueangel 05-28-2011 06:51 AM

That is beautiful fabric. I don't know why it wouldn't work.
