Thinking of buting Janome 7330 is on sale 50% off. Is this a good machine for a beginner, maybe an beginner/intermediate quilter?

Where are you finding Janomes 50% off? I don't know anything about that particular model but I have 3 Janomes and think they're all great machines.

Have a Memory Craft 3000, about 15 years old, and it has been great. I think in general most owners of Janome are happy with theirs. Sounds like a great buy-lucky you.

Janomes are wonderful machines. You just cannot go wrong with a 50% off an one.

I went to the local quilt store called The Sewing House, they are having a Black Friday Sale. All sewing machine 50% off. the Janome 7330 the Magnolia is $349. Has alot of good features my Brothers 3150 doesn't have.

I don't have a janome, but the people I know that do have them think they are great machines...the price sounds good...

i would rather have spent $350 on a new sewing machine instead of tires and a battery for the car!

Ive ALWAYS heard great thingsabout Janomes!

I've had a Janome Quilters Companion now for probably 10 years. I love it and I have never had to have anything done to it yet. It sews like a dream. I would buy Janome again if I was in the market for another machine. To me it rates almost up to my Bernina 930. I don't think you will go wrong with that one.patti

thanks for all the input. I thought it was a good deal but I guess I needed someone else's thoughts. Thanks again

Have you checked on ebay ? That is a little high for a 30 built in stich machine. There are several brands out there for about 200.00 that start with many more features.

You can buy a Janome DC2010 for about that price and it has more stitches. I bought one for my daughter and finally got to sew on it a few months ago. It is a good machine for the price.
