I pick purple

Susann 07-10-2014 01:25 PM

Definitely purple. These are going to be such happy quilt-bet they'll love'em!!

Likethedog 07-10-2014 01:26 PM

Definitely purple!

michelleoc 07-10-2014 01:28 PM

Purple, without a doubt! Those are beautiful fabrics.

ManiacQuilter2 07-10-2014 01:29 PM

I am not sure what to tell you. I love purple but I don't know that it really goes. I would search for a red and teal stripe and see if that works any better. If all else fails try a grey or a black that will make the colors pop.

FurzaFlyin 07-10-2014 01:30 PM

Purple! Ok, I have to add more characters, it doesn't accept just purple. LOL :)

Prism99 07-10-2014 01:36 PM

Purple for me too!

grabba 07-10-2014 02:28 PM

I agree. The purple doesn't go, in my opinion. I can't suggest what I'd choose without seeing more of the pattern.

cizzors 07-10-2014 07:06 PM

Grey would nice.

Jeanne S 07-10-2014 07:09 PM

If you want it really bright and colorful, go with the purple as the white would just blend into the blocks. Like ManiacQuilter though, my first choice would be for a print with red and teal in it.

Dolphyngyrl 07-10-2014 07:14 PM

I love purple but also feel it doesn't really go, and I think the white would be too much white

Yellow is the triadic color wheel choice, that's why many feel purple "doesn't go".:)

I, too, am partial to purple so I would choose that.

cashs_mom 07-11-2014 09:02 AM

Definitely purple!

tessagin 07-11-2014 09:06 AM

Purple is good!

sewbeadit 07-11-2014 11:51 AM

Purple for sure! It pops.

glorcour 07-12-2014 03:44 AM

Purple would not be my choice and I agree that a different pattern (texture) would really
enhance the blocks. Too much tone on tone dots

Scissor Queen 07-12-2014 04:06 AM

No sashing.

solstice3 07-12-2014 04:14 AM

Purple will make it pop!

Judi in Ohio 07-12-2014 04:23 AM

I typically don't use such similar fabrics together. I would vote for something different in sashing. I like the stripey idea or print of some kind with the red/teal? The white would need something between it and the blocks. I actually like two or three or more borders - just because!

Definitely purple for a bright, happy quilt.

FroggyinTexas 07-12-2014 10:06 AM

Wow! Those are great colors and purple is perfect for sashing. froggyintexas

caspharm 07-12-2014 01:52 PM

I like the purple for this one. Without seeing the other, I'm not sure.

Carol Jean 07-12-2014 02:02 PM

Purple is definitely my vote.

Quilt Fan 07-13-2014 06:46 AM

I am thinking white. Because it will make the colors "float".

nunnyJo 07-13-2014 07:09 AM

purple is my answer

PenniF 07-13-2014 08:21 AM

Love these fabrics !!!!!!!...the white is safe and calm and quiet - the purple is pizzazz !!!! ..... do what matches the feel/look you are going for and it will be "right" whichever you choose.

Emma S 07-13-2014 10:37 AM

I think the purple would be perfect for young girls from 8 to 18. It would achieve that modern, bright and light that is so popular right now.
