Thank you Nancy, I do have some white left over. The sashing was cut at 2 inchs.I usally cut my binding at 2 1/2 inches. Should I make the binding a bit smaller. Thank you for your help....Patty

I would do a pink one or two inch border, then a brown border (assuming those are the colors of the quilt). I like dark borders..they're a good frame.

You did a great job. I also like brights. I like it just as is, personally don't think it needs a border, but that's probably just me. Just remember that not every quilt needs to have a border.

Honestly...I think you could just add white borders to size, bind with strips of the pink and brown. Would make a great modern quilt...

Us Alikats must be related, as I was going to write the same thing. I love pieced bindings.

Lovely quilt. Since you don't have any of the original fabric left, I would just go find the closest tone-on-tone pink and brown fabric you can find and use one as a border and one for binding. I do think it needs at least a narrow border of 2" or a little more.

I just want to pop in to tell you that your top is great especially for a beginner, good job

Agree! I'd pick a pink and brown print that "reads" as a solid and create two borders. Then, use the brown as the binding. Beautiful quilt!

I really like your quilt! I also think all of these suggestions are good, I can't add a thing there. I just wanted to suggest that you might want to take the whole quilt top with you when you are looking for fabric. I do that often, and it makes things easier for me, as I don't "visualize" well.

Very pretty! It will be wonderful with whatever you decide to do. Love the colors!
