Needles

I have a lot of double knit fabric that I would like to use for quilts. Do
I use a stretch ballpoint or a regular ballpoint needle?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

either, I have sewn a lot of knits and both ballpoint and stretch needles worked well.

Been a while since I sewed double knit but always used ballpoint to prevent skipped stitches.

I haven't used any knit needles with my quilting, only the sharp quilting needles. You can always try and see how they work.

Lucky you. I made a double knit quilt 45 years ago and the old goat is still used and loved.
