That arthritis may be a need to adjust the premerian/estrogen they have you on..or maybe you need to be on one.

I had a hysterectomy at 43, have not regretted it. I was put on premerians (the smallest dose)..ugh...awful aches, pains, mood swings...gave them to my sister...no problems after that!

If you are on one that is not maroon in color...ask for the maroon.

Do try the Sharon Schamber method (someone put a link in their reply to you). It works great!

Sad to hear you are so young and having so many problems. Take your time, listen to these gals on hints who have been there and done that. The card table solution sounds good to me.

Sending prayers and sympathy.... I know what you mean, but I am fifty years older than you are. Take care, my dear. And do try the Sharon Schamber method... I know I am going to my next quilt. Blessings....

You may be arthritic but it sounds like your home is very clean. I could NEVER spread a quilt on my kitchen floor. I have however used the living room floor. Getting up and down is not easy for me either as I have had partial ankle fusion of both ankles in the last three years. My heart goes out to you. Hang in there. You do sound like you are making the best of your situation. God Bless You.

OMG! You must find an easier way.......

So sorry to hear about all your issues! I guess I have nothing to complain about at my age! Hang in there...just do what you can, and let the rest go.

You are waaaaaaay too young to be going through all of this. It's bad enough we all have to end up that way when we are old enough!!! Hope you find a "cure" for all those problems.

What about the sheet on the wall and using spray basting? Also some quilt or fabric stores allow good customers to use their tables during slow times. I feel your pain, both bladder and arthritis, but we cannot allow ourselves to give up quilting because of these problems. Hope we get to see the finished quilt.

Thanks! I don't like using spray baste on large projects as it doesn't stick for too long. Our local library doesn't have large tables to use, I can't use the ones at the school and I just switched churches so I'm not too comfortable with asking to use the new church's tables. I normally don't have a problem with pinning on the floor but the continuous up and down motion from a weak bladder did me in yesterday. I'm still aching like I did a full workout. Needless to say, I skipped my normal morning workout this morning.

Sorry for all your health issues. The bladder issue is no fun.
