It was National Quilt Day, I had to work. What a better place to find a new 'baby'?
I bought a Brother SQ 9000, Sewing and Quilting machine!

We had company for dinner, so haven't used it ----much. And no pics for you yet, (Monday will have pics)
Can't wait to use it. It does monogramming, quilting, sewing and seems easy to use so far.

Does anyone else have this machine?

A new machine is a good reason to cancel dinner plans in my book.

OK maybe no. Congratulations. Have tons of fun!!

Congrats on your new baby! Will we be receiving birth announcements?
Seriously, when I got my Bernina (used) I felt like I should do just that! 8-)

Wait until you do have time.... you won't want to quit! In just practicing I made my granddaughter a tiny pillow with her name on it, bordered with hearts! And that was the first thing I did!

And now I just watched the DVD that came with it! Oh, was I supposed to do that first????

I tried to search for your 'baby' on Google and got no results. May I ask where you got it. Thanks.

I got mine at Walmart. $199.97! I had found it on Amazon.com last week for $300.00.
But just did a search and can't find it either.

I'll go take a picture of it and post it shortly.

Thank you for taking the time to answer. I am thinking of getting a new machine to use for classes, something not too heavy to carry. Is yours very heavy?

Not heavy at all and comes with a hard cover to protect it and to transport.
