OK - we all know what SID is right? Stitch in the Ditch!
Having difficulty keeping my stitch in the ditch - I took a suggestion from a member of this board and tried using a decorative stitch over the ditch. So much easier and looks great! So - my new acronym - DSOD or Decorative Stitch Over the Ditch! :-) Cindy My DSOD Wall Hanging |

Good idea! Very pretty stitching!

Thanks, great idea! I can't stay exactly where I want to be either. Maybe I'm just not doing something right?
Very cute!
Good idea!!
Love it!!! :D
Looks fantastic, nice work.
Great idea! Glad it worked!
I like it!!! That's what I do sometimes. Instead of in the ditch I run along the ditch with a fun stitch.
How nice you FMQ looks! the stippling/meandering is just enough to off set the blocks without detracting from the colors /patterns in the blocks. Just goes to show you that not every inch of a quilt block needs to be quilted.
Really cute and a great idea.
What a great and super idea! I'm trying to decide how to quilt a quilt, and will definitely put this idea in the running!
That looks really good. I may try that on small quilt. I even have a foot that is for stitching in the ditch, but I still have problems.
