new brother machines
Anyone see the new walking foot for the new brother. It looks very impressive, almost makes me want a new machine

I don't suppose the new foot fits on our older machines ???????????????

i looked into the new brother sewing, quilting, and embroidery machine coming out in september. holy cow would i love one of them! it has about an 11" throat i believe. they said 'mid range' in price but i couldn't find a price. so im assuming mid range is about 5k....way above my budget!

someone on here purchased one recently maybe she can shed some light as to the pricing of the machines. I want one but can't justify it because I have my espire

It's less then the price of a new four wheeled ATV, a boat and motor, a John Deere lawn tractor, a stump grinder and log spliter, a Craftman tool chest full of tools, air compressor with pneumatic tools, or a welding machine. Way less. DH is talking RV now so I don't justify anything I buy for sewing.

I went searching the net and found this blog... http://jocrazymama.blogspot.com/2012...wish-list.html There are always blogs with good info! I don't think these prices are all that bad!

I have just purchased the Dreammaker Sew/Quilt Brother machine. I am paying $3199.00 + tax for this machine. The Sew/Quilt/Embroidery machine was quoted to me at an intrductory price of $4999.00 + tax, but was going up to 7999.00 after the introductory price went off. (Aug 18th) I just could not justify the 3 in 1 machine since I have the Brother SE 400 and have never even used the embroidery part. I am so looking forward to getting this machine and teaching myself to machine quilt. |
Just for anyone wanting to know Retail the sewing embroidery is 8999 and the sewing only is 6999 not much of a difference. The new foot pedal will retail for 400. I got an awesome trade in deal and the foot for free when it is released at the LA County fair they had good pricing paid 6400 for the embroidery
