I just bought a bundle of 12 fat quarters, and want to do something with them this weekend, but I don't know what. Any pattern suggestions?

:D OH! Gorgeous! The Yellow Brick Road pattern calls for 12 fats for a lap size. I see a wonderful snuggly there. Have fun!

Or you could just save yourself all that time and send them to me

Those are beautiful! What fabric line is it? I looked up Country Patchworks but I don't see that they have an online shop.

Maybe a D9Patch would be another good one to go for as it goes together quickly.

Just love your concern. :D :D :D

I agree with the Jakob's Ladder (possibly because it is one of my favorites).

Ladies, ladies....let's stop the bickering about what to do with the fabrics or to whom they should be sent. They should definitely go to me, as those are the colors I'm looking for, for a lap quilt I'm doing for Christmas. There. Wasn't that easy?

turning twenty can use 12 fats too!

sandpat 05-02-2009 04:32 PM

Oh you are ALL sooo silly!!!! First of all, you should untie them (so they can get all comfy), then you should stroke and pet them lovinly..., then stick them in an envelope with my addy!!

(slipped that one right in on ya' didn't I???)

I agree with the D9P...love it and it ALWAYS looks great! Have fun!

Your fabric is lovely.

Courtepointe 05-03-2009 09:21 AM

Thanks for all of your suggestions. I think it will have to be a D9P! I will keep you updated.

I was at a quilt show in Northern California this weekend. Someone had made a beautiful quilt with just card trick blocks out of different shades of beige, it was gorgeous. Maybe that would work?

I think ya'll just need to back off.
She's sending them to me!
It was just a tease for her to take the pic and make you think she was keeping them. lol
