Be careful of their thread it has some sort of residue on it and very linty! I have my 830E Bernina in the shop now and I use this thread to make a jacket with lots of sewing on it and messed it up good and going to cost me to get it right!!!!

Yes, their thread is a little bit different, it seems. One of my sewing machines does not work very well with their cotton threads, but my others work fine. Guess it depends on the machine.

I placed my order on the 4th and it came today. Very happy with everything. The colors are so bright, just like the sunny day we are having today. Going to play now.

I read a few posts saying that CT fabric is poor quality. CT quality has never disappointed me.

I just love getting the catalog in the mail.

I love the fabric also - never had any problems with quality. Can't wait for my order to arrive!!

boy I noticed this too- what's up with that? sorry that didn't come out correct- why is this catalog so much less expensive than keepsakes?

DonnaC 04-10-2011 06:49 AM

Well, CT has the fabric made specifically for them - it's not available anywhere else. Be aware, though, that they seem to discontinue each line pretty quickly and come out with something new... for us kit and fabric hoarders (LOL), we might need more of a certain fabric but not be able to get it. We need to quilt faster!! I'm working on that (smile).

A Great "catalog". Hard to keep from ordering.

I have used their thread for years and always use it in my Mega Quilter. Have never had a problem but I clean my machine every time I change the bobbin too. I just like the quality of it, especially for quilting.
